This is not a defect and your carpet will not get damaged no matter how much fluff comes out of it.

-Incase of a loose thread / yarn do not pull it / tug it. Simply use scissors to cut it.
-Folds & Bumps - If your carpet has been delivered in a folded form it is normal for it to show folds. These will go away as you lay the carpet flat on the floor.
-Please use a well qualified and equipped cleaner for your handmade carpets.
