Though the origin of carpets is from Persia ( Modern day :Iran) India is now a leading manufacture of carpets and rugs found all over the world. In fact in terms of design & material innovation India is at the forefront and carpets made in India have adorned the floors and walls of some of the most famous monuments & palaces across the globe.
